Our Internet Home Banking is easy, secure and just can't get any more affordable......it's FREE!!! WHAT IS THE HOME BANKING ONLINE SYSTEM DESIGNED TO DO? The HOME BANKING online service is designed to use the internet as a secure means for our members to access account information for those members who request it, as well as provide a way to communicate transaction information securely with . The intent of the online service is to allow members a safe means to access their individual account information from anywhere, 24 hours a day. WHAT THE HOME BANKING ONLINE SERVICE IS NOT DESIGNED TO DO! The HOME BANKING online service is NOT designed as an online extension of the credit union core processing system, a marketing portal, or a mission-critical delivery system. The system provides no direct means to convert funds or even for the member to intentionally or unintentionally send funds to a third party. WHAT ARE THE RISKS? Any method of delivering information has Risk with regards to confidentially. No other method of delivering information provides the level of control afforded by the HOME BANKING online service. Through the use of the latest authentication and encryption technologies, combined with the member anonymity of the design, the online service may in fact be the safest way to deliver confidential information. Members must first request access to the HOME BANKING online service. To access account information, the member must enter the account number and Password. This is similar to an audio response system except that the Passwords are not limited to four (4) numeric characters. The online service Passwords MUST contain BOTH alphabetic and numeric characters and MUST be from four (4) to eight (8) characters long. The most likely means of breaching the system and getting member financial records is to obtain the members Account Number and Password. This risk is the same as in the real world with Passwords, house and car keys, alarm codes and others. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO GUARD YOU PASSWORD AS WELL AS TO CHANGE IT OFTEN. HOW DO MEMBERS ACCESS THE HOME BANKING ONLINE SERVICE? At the top of this page, is a link to the online service Disclosure. Each member must request access to the online service by accepting the disclosure and completing the application that follows. When the members account has been setup, the credit union will e-mail a confirmation notice and the temporary Password that will allow the member access to the online service. The temporary Password will only allow two (2) log-ins to the service. The member must change the Password to be able to continue using the online service. All passwords are one way encrypted. This means that when a member enters an account number and password, it is encrypted and sent to the database for verification. The database WILL NOT deliver an unencrypted account number and password out to the member. If a member gets Locked Out of the online service, they must contact the credit union and request that the password be reset.
